Our Story
Founded in 2017, SkyOx began with a passion for revitalizing existing homes and has grown into developing and building new homes, apartments, and townhomes throughout our community. Named after our children, Skylar and Knox, SkyOx represents more than a business — it's about investing in the future of the place we call home. Locally owned and operated by Lauryn and Clint Meadows, we're proud of our Appalachian roots and the resilience, hard work, and strong sense of community that define this region. Our mission is to build beautiful homes, strengthen our neighborhoods, and create communities future generations will be proud to call home.
What We Build
SkyOx specializes in long-term rentals, furnished mid-term housing, and new construction homes for sale. As a residential developer, we focus on thoughtfully designed, efficient home plans that balance quality, functionality, and affordability. Alongside our own developments, we offer a select collection of plans that buyers can build on their own land, making the homebuilding process simpler, more predictable, and accessible.
